Peugeot can claim
to be the oldest car company in the world. This
model was first built in 1906 and was driven by a
12/16 HP engine. The power was transmitted to the
wheels via a chain linkage.
Only appearing in
yellow and black before 1972 the Yesteryear model
can be found with only minor variations. The
models to look out for are issue 1 with no front
seat bead and issue 4 with absolutely clear
perspex windows rather than the more usual amber.
Prices for mint boxed examples of the regular
issues are around £10-£20. Issue 1 is usually
over £50 whereas issue 4 can command well over
£100.
