The Cadillac company started out life as the Henry Ford Company in 1901 founded by the famous Henry Ford. Very soon after Ford left to enter motor racing. One of the conditions for him leaving was that the name of the company be changed - to Cadillac.

All the Yesteryear models produced during our period of interest appeared in gold, the early models being in a lighter colour than those produced after 1970. Many minor variation exist but few major variations. The first issue is probably the scarcest having no hood location pips or windscreen lug (helping to locate the hood). This can be found for around £100. Most standard issues are available between £10 and £20.
