A slightly
larger catalogue than the
previous year. Catalogues
remained this size until the
1980s. Yesteryears are briefly
covered on three pages. There is
a four page illustrated
description on how Matchbox
Models were made. There is even a
Matchbox Quiz. |
 |
The first
twelve Models of Yesteryear
available in 1966. This was the
last year to see the Y4 Shand
Mason fire engine and the Y12
Horse Drawn Bus. This is the
first time the Mercer is
illustrated in yellow. |

The
remaining four Yesteryear models
plus the potential replacement
for the Shand Mason. This was the
Opel Coupe which was actually
released in 1967. It is
illustrated here in maroon, a
colour scheme in which it was
never released. |
